Connie Fabian-Isaacs

Constance Fabian-Isaacs is the Board President for Alert Adults.  Previously, Connie served as Secretary as well as Volunteer Coordinator. Connie's background includes her role as a Technical Communications Consultant, Independent Legalshield Associate and entrepreneur.  A resident of Tulsa for many years, Connie has a rich and diverse background in manufacturing, product development, software development, cable and communications, gas and oil and system analysis.  She is well-developed in the areas of effective communication, listening, writing and knowledge transference and has helped companies develop documentation teams, processes and sets. She has also published articles in magazines such as Software Development and Emmy.  As a writer, mother, grandmother, partner and entrepreneur, Connie is dedicated to having a positive impact on the lives she touches.  She is committed to the mission of Alert Adults and protecting children from sexual abuse.

Sheila Haney
Vice President

Sheila J. Haney is retired from John Zink Company where she served as Field Service Coordinator from 2011 to 2016.  She is passionate about serving people and has been involved with many different groups serving in various capacities. For over 20 years, Sheila served with the Kairos Prison Ministry. She was also a volunteer with Tulsa Boys Home where she mentored boys going through difficult situations. Sheila also served on the Steering Committees for New Direction Support Group and the Relationship Recovery Workshop. She volunteered with DivorceCare & Surviving the Holidays and served with the Children's Ministry at St. James United Methodist Church.  Sheila successfully took on the role of Volunteer Coordinator for Alert Adults 2015 Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Symposium.  Currently, Sheila is the Vice Present for Alert Adults.  Sheila's personal experience with child sexual abuse has compelled her to be an unyielding advocate for preventing child sexual abuse.

Melodie Bateman

Melodie Bateman joined Alert Adults in 2016. She developed a strong interest in Alert Adults due to its approach of preventing child sexual abuse before it occurs and to educate adults in the grooming techniques used by perpetrators. Being a single mother and grandmother, Melodie has a deep appreciation for the direction and success of Alert Adults. Melodie retired after 39 years at AEP/PSO where she served in several areas, primarily management positions. She served on the Ward-Wiseman Animal Haven board for 5 years, with 2 of the 5 years as board president. Melodie is currently the Ward 2 City Commissioner for the City of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and previously served as Ward 3 City Commissioner for 6 years. She is a Collinsville FFA Alumni and judge for the annual State of Oklahoma FFA Creed Competition. Melodie was a 2 year board member for the Miss Collinsville Oklahoma Scholarship Pageant. She is an active member of Discovery Bible Fellowship Church.
